Well. Procrastination. Always a problem.

Two weeks in to this new year. I finally get around to actually making this thing a reality. --A blog. About me, the boys and all the above.

Let's start with a story from this morning: Like every working parent, when leaving for work in the morning that's hectic, sad and happy all at the same time. I mean, hectic because you're trying to make sure you have all your ducks in a row, and that you've set up the boys for success for the day. Sad, because you really do love to be around these mini-me's as long as possible. Happy because you need the reset to be all that you can be when you reunite in the evening.

So there I am. I've kissed them both on the head and have walked out the door, took a deep breath and started my jaunt to the train station. As I crossed the street and walked away from home, I took my last look and wave. And normally, I gesture to the windows thinking: "If they're looking they'll enjoy seeing me wave. But on this morning, I saw them. Two little heads in the front room looking out the window. I wave, and hope they know that I love them and can't wait to see them at the end of the day.

So let's continue looking back and making this historical digital stamp that'll probably never go away.
